Loving Life

We've been enjoying all the time we've had together as a family and with our friends this week. We've commented to each other several times how much we love our life right now. We are very richly blessed!

Mady has been entertaining us more than ever lately. We were in Wal-Mart earlier this week and someone said over the loudspeaker, "Customer service to electronics, please. Customer service to electronics. Thank you." To which Mady promptly replied, "Welcome!" She's so polite. Last night I opened her door before we went to bed and went to cover her up. I discovered that she had taken off her pants and her diaper after we laid her down for the night. We got a good laugh out of it and some good pictures, and then we got to change pajamas and sheets and deal with a cranky little girl who wasn't too happy to have been woken up! It was definitely hilarious, though.

Today we went to Oubache (Wabash) State Park and hiked around for a little while and had a picnic. Mady was on the lookout for cows and pigs on our hike. She kept saying, "Cow, pig, are you? Strangely enough, we never did find them...

Anyway, we started the hike with her in her backpack carrier. She did pretty well for awhile and then wanted out to walk.

Or so we thought. She actually wanted Mommy to "hold you". She did "take" some good pictures though!

We enjoyed a picnic of PB&J, Sunchips, grapes, yogurt, and peaches that we bought at a little store on the way there. They were delicious. Mady is napping now, but as soon as she wakes up she needs to take a bath. Squeeze yogurt is a dangerous snack when laying on your back, we found out. It's all matted in her hair. Well, we hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. Until next time!
