The Great Outdoors

One of the highlights of our week came last night, when of course the only camera I had was my cell phone. Mady and Lucy were playing over by the prayer chapel and eventually made their way to the fountains. It was  80 degrees and humid yesterday, and they ended up completely drenched from head to toe. They had a blast! And so did Whitney and I while we attempted to take pictures with our camera phones.

I was searching for a pair of earrings this morning and Mady was "helping" me. She decided she wanted to wear a necklace so we chose this silver one Barb made for me. She wore it all morning until nap time! I was trying to get a good picture of the necklace, but I couldn't resist the adorable grin in this one:-)

We had a fun afternoon playing with Miriam and Hezekiah! Check out Mady's mad soccer skills here. She's going to make her daddy proud!

Mady and Hezzie also decided to play a rousing game of peek-a-boo. You can tell who lost interest first:-)

Tonight we had the end of the year Swallow cookout. It was a lot of fun gathering most of the dorm together for food, silly awards, and a water balloon fight (which we knew about ahead of time so we were able to stay dry). We wrapped up the evening with a trip to Ivanhoe's and the park with the Rippetoes. It was a fun day!

Kendall only has one week left of classes. It's been pretty hectic lately! He had a big group paper due yesterday, and they present next week. His thesis proposal is due on Tuesday, so he will be busy this weekend! Students will all be moved out by next Saturday, which seems a bit surreal. This year has flown by! Oh, if you want to see a picture of Kendall and learn about what he will be doing this June, check out Taylor's website (www.taylor.edu). He's on the front page. Have a great weekend everyone!
