Carpe Diem

Life is back in full swing for us with Kendall busy preparing for the coming school year, but we've enjoyed two very fun weekends in a row! Two weeks ago we went down to Muncie with our good friends the Drakes and took in the Children's Museum and enjoyed some delicious Greek's Pizza.

Mady and Lucy were busy preparing for future careers as Marsh cashiers. I think they have potential!

It was about time to go and Mady had just gone "fishing" in this boat. They had paperclips attached to little poles and you could catch laminated fish with magnets on them. She loved it and decided she didn't want to go, so she laid down where we couldn't reach her and just smiled at us.

I think Greek's is my favorite restaurant in Muncie. The pizza was delicious and the company delightful!

This past weekend we drove down to Anderson  with Chris to take in a little bit of the Colts' training camp. We quickly learned our lesson that we should go on a weekday instead of a Saturday, but it was still a fun experience.

Mady was more interested in eating her grapes than in watching practice. She looked pretty adorable in her Peyton Manning jersey, though!

Adam Vinatieri warmed up on the practice field which was where we ended up finding a spot, so we had a great view of that.

This is extremely zoomed in, but it was fun (and free!) to see the Colts in action.

Kendall has a retreat these next few days, and then next week the PAs come back and he will leave to go on the PA bike trip to northern Michigan, so August just keeps getting crazier, but we are enjoying life and wouldn't change it for anything.
