Grandma time!

Kendall spent Monday-Thursday last week at a conference in Pennsylvania, so my mom came to stay with Mady and me! It was great to see her and we had lots of fun all around central Indiana:-)

After we met mom at the airport we went to the Indy Zoo. Mady had been super excited about seeing ducks at the zoo, so we were very happy to see that they had an entire pond filled with ducks.

Mady loosened up when we went from the zoo to the botanical gardens and there were no animals around to intimidate her. She especially enjoyed these spitting frogs!

We went to Muncie on Wednesday for Mady's 2 year check-up. She's a healthy girl! She got some new rain boots, so she had to rock them when we got home.

We took Grandma to the park at the elementary school and Mady got to show her how brave she is when it comes to climbing and swinging and sliding. She loves to play at the park!

We went to Fort Wayne on Thursday so I could find a dress for Noah and Brittany's wedding next month. We had to stop at Cold Stone for some ice cream while we were there. Mady loves ice cream. I would love to figure out how to keep her clean while eating it.

On Friday we had a nice hot morning to try out the new Waterpiller Grandpa and Grandma Stanislav sent Mady for her birthday. She found many ways to entertain herself with it:-)

It was a great week! It made us all the more excited to be back in Iowa in three weeks to catch up with family. Mady's counting it down. We'll see if we ever get past two weeks this time.
