Taylor!

I'm a bit behind at blogging this month, so here goes the first of several posts:-) We headed back to Upland at the beginning of June to spend a week catching up with dear friends and for Kendall to go to the annual ACSD (Association of Christians in Student Development) conference that Taylor hosted this year. Our friends Matt and Miriam graciously opened up their home to us for the 8 days that we were there. Thanks for putting up with us for so long guys!!! We had several opportunities to get together with people, including an ice cream social in the Gins' backyard. It was a perfect night for the kids to all run around and play, and it was so fun to watch Mady reconnect with the friends that she has dearly missed this past year!

I love these ladies! It was so great to catch up. And Mady loves Isa and Lucy just as much. She talks about them quite frequently! I hope they don't forget each other as the years go by.

Isa is quite the natural leader:-)

Mady and Ollie are soul mates. At least their parents think so:-) They always have a great time together!

Stella was ready to show the big kids she could hang:-)

Mady turned four while we were in Upland and she was so excited to celebrate her birthday at Taylor Lake for the 3rd year in a row. We were able to gather with so many wonderful friends who love our little girl almost as much as we do. We had a great night!

The kids were filthy by the end of the night. I think it took Drew less than five minutes to find the pile of mud.

Sweet friends!

The babies, one year later. Miles, Phoebe, Drew, and Molly! They are a total of six weeks apart. It was so fun to see how they have all grown!

These wonderful ladies spent a great deal of time with Mady over our time at Taylor. It didn't take her too long to pick up where she left off with them!

Silly Phoebe:-)

It was good for my soul to be back in Upland, and hard to say goodbye. I will always be grateful for the time we were able to spend there and for the lifelong friendships we built! I hope it won't be a full year before we get back again:-)
