September

September has been quite the busy month! It's been an extremely fun month in Drew's life. I think I'd forgotten just how quickly babies grow and change at this age. Drew is rolling all over and scootching and straining to reach things. He's sitting on his own now, and is full of smiles, giggles, and babbles. He's such a joy!

One of our highlights from September was going to Des Moines to meet our new nephew, Luke Henry. Of course, my camera died after I took two pictures of Mady and Kaylee, so I didn't get a single picture of baby Luke. This trip was really the first time where Mady and Kaylee played together and it made us all very excited for when Nick, Allison, Kaylee, and Luke move back to Orange City.

It's been extremely fun watching Mady and Drew interact. They love each other very much. Right now Mady likes to hold him and fall backwards with him on top of her and he thinks it's pretty great. So far, we've remained accident free with this little activity...

The weather has been beautiful here so we've been able to enjoy lots of time outside. We had an especially windy day the other day that made for some fun bubble blowing! Drew loves being outside, and Mady would be happy outside all day if we let her!

It's really nice having a patio area right outside of our front door. Mady can run around and still be in our sight and on this windy day, it was a great way to stay out with Drew without blowing away!
