Drew is growing and changing every day. He's a great baby. He sleeps pretty well every night, and we can usually count on a good stretch of awake time each morning and at some point late afternoon or evening. We're all enjoying getting to know him!
Mady still loves him to pieces and has several different nicknames for him. She's a great big sister.
I had to include this picture of Drew's fresh after bath time hair. It tends to stick up in all directions! Pretty adorable.
We had several days of warm weather recently, which we loved. We headed out for several walks around campus. Mady definitely had spring fever and never wanted to come inside. I love my Moby Wrap. I use it quite a bit. It's so convenient to snuggle Drew in and be able to give Mady attention too!
Dan, Lisa, Matt, Jamie, and Emily came out to visit a few days after we got home from the hospital. We were so glad they could come and meet Drew!
We celebrated my birthday while they were here. It was fun being able to share that with family. Thanks for the delicious fruit pizzas, Mom!
This past weekend, my dad drove out with Nick, Allison, and Kaylee. As you can see, Mady and Kaylee were quite happy to spend time together. We especially enjoyed listening to their little adult conversations. My personal favorite consisted of them discussing who their doctors are.
Mady: Kaylee, this is my ring from Dr. Lemna (her dentist)!
Kaylee: Dr. Lemna?
M: Yes. Who your doctor, Kaylee?
K: I go to Dr. Bebe.
M: Dr. B?
K: No, Dr. Bebe.
I'm sure Mom and Dad won't appreciate the silly picture as much as I do, but we got the best participation from the girls here. And honestly, it's all about the cute kiddos:-) We really appreciated Mom's help for the past few weeks while I recovered a bit.
Noah and Brittany will join us for Easter, and then Drew will have met the whole family.
I'll try to do a better job of updating pictures more frequently, but at this point, no promises:-)
