Hi everyone! Some of you may remember about 2 1/2 years ago when Kendall and I decided to start a blog chronicling our pregnancy and the subsequent life of our child. You may also remember our epic failure at updating this blog:-) This is the story of my life, actually. I've always been terrible about journaling, scrapbooking, etc. Anytime I've been motivated to begin journaling, I do well for about 3 days, and then very quickly taper off. Alas, no more! We've decided that we will give this blogging thing another go, and have vowed to do better at keeping you all up to date on the day to day happenings in the lives of the Stanislavs (You may have noticed the strange picture above here...the blog is still under construction. It should be fixed soon!). So without further ado...

We've been back in Indiana for just over a week now, after a wonderful Spring Break in Iowa with family. We had a great time seeing everyone. Mady loves spending time with papas and grandmas and aunts and uncles. And Kaylee of course! The girls had a great time playing together when we were in Orange City. When we got to Blencoe, Mady's mind was primarily occupied by tractors. She especially enjoyed riding around on Uncle Matt's old toy tractor. It is now "Mady's tractor". Spring break pictures can be found on my facebook page for those interested in seeing them!

We've quickly settled back into our routine here. Mady has become my kitchen helper, which is quite fun! We've made a couple pans of brownies and some Twix bars for Kendall to bring to class. I love having her help, but I'm not sure I'm ready to have to share licking the spoons!

We've had great weather and are definitely spending lots of time outside. I love springtime. Flowering trees are one of my favorite things. I'm not sure what kind of bush/tree this is, but it's beautiful so I thought I'd share it:-)

We've especially been enjoying watching Mady ride her new trike! She's always trying to ride her little friends' bikes and push toys, so we decided to give her her birthday present a little early. She hasn't quite figured out how to do it by herself, but we don't mind pushing her on it. Here's a video for your enjoyment!

All in all, life is good! We are extremely blessed to be happy, healthy, and enjoying life. More updates will come soon! I promise:-)
