Bubbles!

We had a great weekend here in Upland! We celebrated birthdays with friends Friday night, had lunch at Applebee's followed by playtime at the Marion mall Saturday while Kendall got a haircut, went to "Date Night" with the Gins Saturday night, church Sunday morning, had supper with the Drakes Sunday night, followed by Bible Study for me while Kendall and Mady played with Jacob and Lucy and Matt and Hezzie. Wow, re-reading that sentence makes our weekend seem busy! It was actually pretty relaxing and lots of fun.

Mady's favorite topic of conversation since Friday afternoon has been haircuts. She got her bangs cut Friday, and has been telling everyone "Mady haircut!" and "Daddy haircut!" ever since! We got back from the movie Saturday night at about 10:30 and Mady was still awake, sitting on our wonderful babysitter Annessa's lap. She was about asleep but perked up right away to have a conversation with us about haircuts. Too funny!

We've also had lots of fun playing with bubbles lately. I picked up a really awesome container at Meijer the other day and we've already refilled it several times. This morning we were getting ready to go play with them and she decided she wanted to play with Isa Moser, so we went over and blew bubbles with Benjamin, Isa, and Sam, and had lots of fun! They did a very good job taking turns. We really like when Mady can play with other kids and work on things like sharing and taking turns. The Moser kids set a great example for her!
