I've been meaning to post some pictures of our apartment for awhile, but time got away from me! Anyway, here is a glimpse of our North Suites home (for a look at the building check out this link: http://www.nwciowa.edu/residence-life/north-suites).
I'm really enjoying our kitchen. My favorite part is the dishwasher! We were missing some shelves in the biggest cupboard until yesterday, so I am loving having those and getting rid of much of the clutter on the counter in this picture.
The living/dining room is a little tight, as you can see by the placement of Drew's playmat, but it works. It's cozy with our stuff in it!
We got a great new kitchen table and chairs that we love. It's fun having a higher table to sit at, and it has a leaf we can add when we eventually have more space!
I love how our canvas turned out. We get tons of compliments on it! I think canvas pictures are one of my new favorite things.
Our bedrooms are a little smaller than the ones at Taylor, but we are comfortable. We really like the matching curtains we found.
Mady is pretty pumped about her new big girl bed. She's had it for almost 2 weeks now, I think. We had been talking about building a playhouse loft bed, but we scrapped that when we were told we could have a playroom!
Our playroom is pretty great. It was originally going to be Kendall's office, but they moved his office to the adjoining space and gave this to us to use for the kids. It's just outside of our door, so Mady is able to be out there by herself and it's so wonderful to have a place for her things. We are very grateful NWC let us use this!
Kendall ended up scoring an even bigger office. I think he is really going to enjoy spending time in here!
I didn't get a great picture of the bathroom, but most people know that was a point of frustration for me since we don't have a bathtub. It's worked out well, though, and Mady has adapted to showers quite nicely!
