Drew has recently begun to smile at us, which we absolutely love! He enjoys his playmat and often smiles at the pictures on the sides. Between that and his big sister, he was thoroughly entertained yesterday!
Last night around 11 Drew was wide awake, so I decided to take advantage of it with another little photo shoot. He was quite expressive, although I missed the best smiles as I was grabbing for the camera. Go figure!
Look out, Ben Stiller! You have some Blue Steel competition!
Drew's really been a great baby, although this past week he had a tough time with his tummy. We could tell he was really uncomfortable, but we couldn't figure out how to get him relief. We ended up discovering ColicCalm, a homeopathic treatment, on Saturday and it gave him instant relief. It was fantastic! And we are so thankful to have our happy little boy back.
In other news, life is incredibly busy right now. Kendall is scheduled to defend his thesis on April 20. We are very excited for that to be finished! In addition to finishing that he is on a field trip right now, is in full swing with the job search, and busy with Swallow and other class projects. Mady and I are both very glad that the weather is warming up so that we can get outside and enjoy some sunshine! All she ever wants to wear are shorts and tank tops with flip flops. She got to on Sunday when it hit 85, but we've had our battles over what she gets to wear outside! We're looking forward to Easter weekend very much. Not only will life slow down, Noah and Brittany will be here, so it should be lots of fun!
